Jackfruit - recipes - Different types

The tender jackfruits are used for making side dish, called chakka thoran.

The mature jackfruits are used for making chips, called jackfruit chips, chakka chips, chakka kondattam etc.

With the ripe jackfruits chakka ada (jackfruit jam with rice and jaggery steamed) are made. It is one of the delicacies of South India, especially Kerala.
